Gary Wicks endorses David Eden bass amplifiers. He uses WT-800 heads and 4x10 cabinets when on tour with
The Manhattan Transfer.

When playing small club gigs around the LA music scene, he useshis personal gear; an older WT-300 bass head, a 2x10 XLT speaker cabinet and an ENC110 combo amplifier. He says he prefers Eden amps and cabs "because of the pure quality of sound, ease of use, and reliability. I've owned and used extensively my WT-300 and 210XLT for ten years and never had a day of trouble with it!"

Gary Wicks endorses D'Addario Strings. He uses Helicore Hybrid Medium gauge strings on his upright basses and XL-160 electric bass strings on his electric basses.

"I love the Helicore Hybrid upright bass strings!  I play a wide variety of styles and need strings that can deliver my sound no matter what I am being asked to play.  I especially like the sound quality when I switch between bowing and plucking.  No other string delvers like that!"

Gary Wicks endorses the Chadwick Folding Bass.

"When touring the world and dealing with the airline's ever changing restrictions, I check my CFB with no hastles! The first real, full acoustic upright bass, that can actually function as a travel bass! Finally, I don't have to compromise a single aspect of my playing for the road. Thanks Charlie!"
